Emergency Communications NewsSunday 11th September 2005 Emergency procedures on the Glasgow subway are being tested today in the first safety exercise since the July bombings in London. The drill is being held at West Street and Bridge Street stations, and will involve police, fire and ambulance services and the local authority. The event at 1900 BST follows a table-top exercise in April and will not affect services, which will operate as normal up to the regular Sunday closing time.
